Development into adulthood entails the process of becoming active participants in the community. It is essential for children to be nurtured with values that exemplify honor and contribute positively to society. This is the reason we promote community involvement among children and their families.

Letter to a Friend

In March, we incorporate curriculum that is inclusive of all children and supports the “Letters to a Friend” community outreach initiative.

Children come together to create handmade cards for other children who are currently hospitalized. This initiative not only provides a personal touch of encouragement to the children receiving treatment but also fosters a sense of community and empathy among the young artists. That will be showcased during our auction event.

To further support this cause, we will be hosting an auction. All funds raised from the auction will be donated directly to the local children's hospital, ensuring that the contributions positively impact the lives of those who need it most.

Angel Tree

Every Christmas we collaborate with The Salvation Army to provide gifts to families in need. We organize a Christmas party and request that parents select gifts from the Christmas tree to contribute.

Families who choose not to contribute to the Angel Tree are invited to participate in a cookie baking event. We will be collecting cookie bags to donate to local elderly shelters in our community. Families are welcomed to participate in either or both events.

Green Thumb

As the weather starts to improve in the month of April children will get the chance to enjoy the outdoors and use their energy towards something rewarding.

Children will be engaged in cultivating a garden filled with vegetables and fruits. While learning the fundamentals of gardening, they will enjoy the rewards of their efforts. As the vegetables mature, your child will take home a bag with a variety of produce, plus an additional bag to share with a neighbor.

Any surplus vegetables will be donated to our local food bank to support families in need. Parents are always welcome to come participate in our gardening activities during the summer.
